DVAR TORAH "And YOU, YOU shall command Bnei Yisrael that they shall take to YOU pure, pressed olive oil to kindle the lamp continually." (27:20)
"And YOU, YOU shall bring near to YOURSELF YOUR brother Aharon and his sons..." (28:1)
Why is the word "you" repeated in both of these verses?
According to Ramban, the reason is because Moshe was commanded to carry out these verses himself without an intermediary. But why?
The late Rabbi Yosef Salant, in his book Be'er Yosef, explained that when G-d first appointed Moshe to lead the Jews out of Egypt, Moshe resisted the appointment until "The wrath of G-d burned against Moshe (Shemot 4:14)" It was at that moment, that G-d informed Moshe that Aaron, his brother and NOT Moshe would be the progenitor of all kohanim.
Based upon this midrash, one might think that Moshe forfeited his stature as the foremost leader of the Jews, but that is not the case, explained Rabbi Salant. The repetition of the word "you" teaches that Aaron was ultimately subservient to Moshe. Because, as we read in Pirkei Avot, the world stands on three pillars: Torah, Worship, and Acts of Kindness. Aharon represents worship (avodah), but avodah is secondary to Torah - the Torah which Moshe represented.

HALACHA OF THE WEEK: Flowers on Shabbat According to most authorities, on Shabbat, potted plants and flowers may not be moved [Sefer Hilchot Shabbat, p. 64 in the name of Rabbi M. Feinstein]. However, flowers may be smelled and even touched, provided that their stems are soft and are not normally brittle [Mishna Berura 336 note 48].
On the other hand, cut flowers in a vase - may be moved on Shabbat, unless moving them will cause them to blossom (e.g. moving them from a shady place to a sunny location) [Brit Olam p. 32]. Additionally, cut flowers should be placed in water before Shabbat. But if they were not and they had fully blossomed, some authorities do permit them to be placed in water on Shabbat [Shaar HaTziyun 336 note 48 and Yechave Daat 2:53] while others prohibit this [Rabbi S. Z. Auerbach forbids this - Nishmat Avraham Orech Chaim 336].
On Shabbat, water should not be added to a flower vase [Mishna Berura 336 note 54]. However, on Yom Tov it is permitted [Orech Chaim 654: 1].
Finally, on Shabbat it is forbidden to create a floral arrangement, even if the flowers had been cut in advance [Igrot Moshe Orech Chaim 4:73].
